this one is fun. must be something in Aseminae
i have no idea and will be waiting for experts to weigh in

Reminds me more of a species of Semanotus, or something related.

may well be
that option crossed my mind, too -- but my attention span with bycids is way too short to really investigate...

 
out of the
four possible species in North America listed in Linsley (1964), S. litigiosus is best fit, and female in this case.
