Cossidae subfamilies

As first suggested in a comment here, I propose to remove the 4 subfamily nodes in family Cossidae in order to make navigation easier using the Taxonomy tab.

Following similar recent work in several places of BugGuide, I created an Overview on the family page, showing subfamilies, included genera, and thumbnail images. The Overview is intended as a functional replacement of the current nodes.

Only nine genera in the entire family
on BugGuide right now. We would agree with your decision to remove the subfamilies since you have placed that information on the Info page. Nice work!
