Size: 32 - 35 mm
Monochamus notatus, Northeastern Pine Sawyer, showing longer legs and antennae of male, female somehat larger. This is a much larger, lighter-colored beetle than M. scutel*latus, and it's scutellum, though light colored, is not a brilliant white as in M. scutel*latus. Head is broadest below eyes. A ready biter!
