Tiny day-flying moth

Tiny day-flying moth
Woods End, Laguna Beach, Orange County, California, USA
April 21, 2009
Size: ~4mm wing length

1398.97 - Coleophoridae spp.
Unless Terry Harrison can pull this one out of his species hat, it probably can be identified only at the family or subfamily (Coleophorinae) level - single genus Coleophora, where most of our photos end up. A modern monograph is needed for this group.
