Anomaloninae

Anomaloninae
Ottawa, Ottawa-Carleton, Ontario, Canada
April 22, 2009
Size: Approx, 1 cm or less
I found this pair of mating wasps in a deciduous woodlot near a large cattail marsh. They were very small and I'm not entirely sure if they are Ichneumonids or Braconids, but after looking at a number of wasp images, I am leaning towards an Ichneumonid. Any help as to family is appreciated.
