Plochionus
I feel is a better genus fit based in part on characteristic bell-shaped pronotum vs very different elongated pronotum in Calleida. If Plochionus, can only be Plochionus timidus whose range includes southwestern USA.

Most surprising that pronotum here fits genus Calleida
which is normally characterized by narrow and longer pronotum like this. I suggested Plochionus based on lebiine habitus and much broader bell-shaped pronotum like this. Photographic angle must be giving a misleading perspective. Having specimen "in hand" to compare with G. Ball's identifications clearly gives you the "upper hand" in determination here. Thanks for follow-up.
