Predacious Diving Beetle - Neoporus

Predacious Diving Beetle - Neoporus
The Arboretum, Guelph (N43º32'33"W080º12'49"), Wellington, Ontario, Canada
April 18, 2009
Size: 4.5 mm
Scooped from pond edge.

Either N. clypealis or N. undulatus
but hard to tell without the specimen in hand. The clypeus in N. clypealis is thickened/raised- if you still have the specimen, check for this diagnostic character. The same goes with your other accompanying Neoporus images.
