Jumping Spider ID Request - Phidippus johnsoni
Mountain View, Santa Clara County, California, USA

Size: 1/2" to 3/4"
These spiders are all over the baylands of Mountain View, CA right now. I am particularly fond of jumping spiders and this is one of the larger species I have observed in the area. It has a beautiful red marking on the abdomen. The color of this particular specimen seems to have faded somewhat based on others I have observed in the area. Any ID help would be appreciated. Thanks.
