Swarming Termites

Swarming Termites
Delaware County, Pennsylvania, USA

The swarm was found on the decaying stump of a spruce tree at 10:30am on the 4th day of 90° temperatures. Heatwaves in April are unusual for this region. It was quite a spectacle to see small clouds of fluttering Termites take off again and again. I will post more detail in the General Discussion Forum.
