Oak Bullet Gall Wasp, newly emerged, showing wing - Disholcaspis

Oak Bullet Gall Wasp, newly emerged, showing wing - Disholcaspis
Durham, Durham County, North Carolina, USA
I'm including this image because it shows the best view of the wing veination (in case that's important, as it usually is). My wife very patiently worked for several minutes removing the wasp from the scotch tape, then I set it outside in the grass where we found its gall; it was gone the next morning, either recovered and flown away, or eaten by somebody.
