these green bugs just showed up 2 days ago - should I be worried? should i get them killed?

I think. See info page here and more info here. I've never seen them congregate like this before. I think it's pretty cool. Anyway, if you are worried about your tree I would just scrape them off.

I would love to see this many attractive stink bugs all at once like this! It would be great if you wanted to submit a few more images of the congregation, maybe something not quite as close as the close-up of the single bug, but not quite as far away as the entire trunk shot...
