Just Wondering
I live in Moncton NB and my son and I found this bug as well.Just wondering if any one knows what it is. Thank You.(we still have it waiting to see what it may become if anything.)

It's a firefly to be.
This is the larva of a lamprid. Info here: http://bugguide.net/node/view/85

Interesting creature
Nice prehistoric "armored" look to it. Thanks for posting.

I just had a look at some of you pictures. All I can say is WOW!
I hope I can become as good as you are.
Dave

That means you didn't look at my early pictures.
Thanks for the complement. This site is a great way to improve your photography. Keep posting. (For a real treat, look at the work of Scott Justis. And if you like birds, check out Jay Barnes' website, which you can find at his profile.)
