beetle with mites - Cercyon quisquilius

beetle with mites - Cercyon quisquilius
Baiting Hollow, Suffolk County, New York, USA
May 2, 2009
Size: about 2-2.5 mm.

The beetle flew off, mites and all,
The beetle and mites came with bags of horse manure.
I think the beetle is the same as the one here:

Moved
