What is it? - Cyrtophorus verrucosus

What is it? - Cyrtophorus verrucosus
Montgomery, Orange County, New York, USA
May 2, 2009
Size: 8-9 mm
Upon sighting this one, I thought it was an ant, but now I rather doubt it. The antennae appear too long, and there are no eyes where they are supposed to be. This one has me stumped. An ant mimic maybe? What is it?

What do you think of Cyrtophorus verrucosus
such as

Longhorned Beetle
I would have said Euderces sp., but can't match it up to one of those. I found it it's Cyrtophorus verrucosus.
