"Any way to tell species?"
the short answer is no. this one's a female, they're all but hopeless to ID; males sometimes are easier to tell from really good closeups of antennae and pronotum

 
thought might be the case, moving to genus pgs
I suspected that would be the case, darn blister beetles.. :)
I'll move it on over to the genus images for them.
