Size: Less than an inch
I know its caterpillar season, I've seen the nests all over. I found a few of these guys in my backyard, some hanging from their web or whatever. I've never seen these kind of caterpillars before though.

please crop to "just the bug" or frass. Little tiny image of a bug surrounded by a sea of grass isn't very visible.
