Possible Syrphus sp. - Syrphus - Female
Ottawa, Ottawa-Carleton, Ontario, Canada
May 8, 2009
Size: perhaps half an inch
This syrphid was on a Canada Plum tree on the Central Experimental Farm in the city of Ottawa. I am wondering if it is a Syrphus sp.
