Adela? - Mystacides

Adela? - Mystacides
Lake Lagunitas, Marin County, California, USA
May 9, 2009
Size: 1/4 " not incl antennae
I saw Adela trigrapha around Holodiscus that day. This was with several others on a wooden fence near the water. Antennae were light and dark like A. trigrapha.

John's right
This is a leptocerid caddisfly of the genus Mystacides. The species could be either sepulchralis or alafimbriatus.

How about
Mystacides ?
Maybe even Mystacides sepulchralis ?

Please crop your images closer to "just the bug". This is way too much silver whatever shrinking the actual bug down.
