Melanophthalma
I'm going to edit my previous comment, as I am sure that this is in the genus Melanophthalma the pronotum shape really gives it away- the sides are angulate and there are diagonal impressions at the hind corners of the disk.

Latridiidae
A friend just helped me identify one of these about a week ago! The family is Latridiidae, and I suspect the subfamily is Corticariinae. Nice photography of something about the size of a head of a pin.
