Chilled and posed. This is possibly/probably Alydus eurinus. See Slater, How to Know the True Bugs. (1) Also Insects of Cedar Creek page on this genus.

Thanks to both of you for identifying this for me. I thought that the head looked wrong for a Reduviidae, but didn't know where to take it,
