that's the bug
He was first in my bathroom, and I let him out the window. For some reason he seemed very unafraid and somehow nice, which is understandable now considering his name, and I saw him again outside where he seemed to be waiting for me to take his picture. And of course my camera was dead, so I came here to see if I could find him and I did! So thanks for posting. I will try to get a picture of him if I see him again. Very odd that I should get a nice feeling from a nasty bug, other than katydids

Friendly Bug!
I had the same situation happen today! A bug like this landed on me while I was watering my flowers, and I had never seen one before. At first I was freaked out because he didn't seem to want to get off of me but I quickly realized he was not going to hurt me. He hung on me for a long time and like a boomerang kept coming back on me when I shooed him off. Eventually, he was gone but I saw him a little later on the cement. I was so lucky to have my camera nearby and I got some great photos of him and a little video of him cleaning his wings. It was creepy but at the same time I was fascinated and curious. I was so careful to walk around him while I went about my tasks -- I didn't want to hurt him. Friendly little guy! (I wish I could post my photos and video)
