Moved from Horntails.

Urocerus albicornis (Fabricius)
Male. Recorded from Newfoundland. Have never seen a record of a siricid from St. Pierre and Miquelon!

Urocerus albiccornis
Albicornis is already registered for the Islands (with U.gigas) but i could hardly imagine albicornis with a yellow-ochre band on the abdomen all the specimen I observed where full black
So great thanks for the identification.

Not so sure.
This reminds me much more of a male Urocerus species, but a size indication is not given. I'm going by color and pattern. Sirex are usually monotone, aren't they?
