Soldier Fly - Berkshiria albistylum

Soldier Fly - Berkshiria albistylum
Central Park, New York City, New York, USA
May 15, 2009
Size: 5 mm.
Berkshiria albistylum? If confirmed it is a BG New York State data point for genus and species.
There is a possibly important antennal difference between this individual and those previously identified as this species in Texas.
The third segment here is a series of "rubber tires" of varying diameters. Those in Texas do not appear to be. That same segment in Texas is also more elongate.
They each fit the species name with their white aristas.
Expert comment would be appreciated.
