One day there were none. Now, they're all over the place. And they don't seem very particular about what plant they investigate.

Note the left and right Elf shoes on the anterior of the pronotum.

 
Wrong.
First, I don't believe Menecles even occurs in Oregon. Second, it is a species of Euschistus.
