My best guess is Epitrix. Any tip for species?

are you still using the Lumix? Pretty good resolution and depth of field for live, active beetles of that size! What camera are you planning on? I'm hoping for input because I'm upgrading too.

Yes!
I'm still using Lumix FZ50 with Laynox macroscopic lens M-250. I think Panasonic Lumix FZ series (30, 50, ...) is good for midium-high quality insect photos when considering cropping. I usually take pictures with the maximum number of picture pixels (about 10M) and adjust the magnification in consideration of the depth, and then crop the photos. In case of this picture, only 700*700 pixels among 10M pixels were left after cropping and before size reduction. (The cropping may cause slight blurring of images.)

I vaguely expect a DSRL camera can provide higher-quality pictures (mine is not), but I am not confident whether I am ready to use one. Currently, I have no detailed plan and no detailed knowledge about DSRL products.
