longhorn beetle?

longhorn beetle?
Elkton, Douglas County, Oregon, USA
May 7, 2009
Size: approx 1/2 inch
I'm willing to guess only as far as flower longhorn, and even then, I could be wrong.

Help to ID is appreciated.

Moved from Longhorned Beetles.

Near water?
Was this location a wetland? Reminds me of one of the "aquatic" leaf beetles.

Hi Eric,
There are two sources of water in the immediate area. One is from a very small spring that emerges from the back of my property then trickles through the gully alongside the road, about 250 feet away. The second is a small seasonal creek, but it's about double the distance from the trickling spring. I wouldn't consider either the makings of a wetland.

:-P)
