Size: tiny, 1mm or less
Found a Eucalyptus tree whose leaves were covered in small white, crusty masses. Inside each one there was one of these, just barely visible with the naked eye.

Red gum lerp psyllid
This is a nymph of the red gum lerp psyllid. The "cocoons" are called lerps, and red gum is a type (or a few types?) of eucalyptus.
