Tiny bees, mating - Ceratina - male - female

Tiny bees, mating - Ceratina - Male Female
Elkton, Douglas County, Oregon, USA
May 10, 2009
Size: tiny
At first I thought this was the tiniest bee I'd ever seen. Then I realized it was two bees - enacting their role in "the birds and the bees".

My best guess to their size would be one eight of an inch, and that's pushing it.

Small carpenter bees?
Probably genus Ceratina, but hard to be certain from this angle alone.
