Citation
Could you please update? From CalPhotos:

"How to cite CalPhotos

For citing CalPhotos, we recommend this format:
CalPhotos. 2012. Regents of the University of California, Berkeley. Accessed on April 4, 2012. Available online at: http://calphotos.berkeley.edu/.
Replace the date in this example with the date you accessed the site."

Citation
Thanks for checking -- the citation example above from this CalPhotos page is still the recommended format. If you're asking about the date, please use the date that you accessed the site.

I'm not understanding
No, I'm not concerned about the date. The citation above says "CalPhotos: Animals". According to the link you gave, http://calphotos.berkeley.edu/use.html#citing, the recommended citation at the bottom of the page is:

CalPhotos. 2012. Regents of the University of California, Berkeley. Accessed on April 4, 2012. Available online at: http://calphotos.berkeley.edu/.

Am I missing something?

clarification -- sorry
I realize now you're specifically asking about the "Animals" (fauna) search. Yes, please use the same citation for any CalPhotos pages, whether animals or plants, etc. Does that help?

example
Underneath the example it says.... (oops, better answer above)
