Wasp/Sawfly? - Hoplocampa

Wasp/Sawfly? - Hoplocampa
Prince Edward Point, Prince Edward, Ontario, Canada
May 20, 2009
Size: 1/2 cm +/-
Not very good images and I am only guessing at the size of these insects. They were very small. I am not sure or the name of the blossom either. But I would appreciate an ID if possible.
Thanks

Rosaceae
The blossom is definitely in the Rose Family, which includes apples, pears, plums and cherries, as well as strawberries, blackberries and other berry fruits, and a good number of low plants with dry, papery fruits.

I'm a bit rusty, but I would guess we're looking at something more toward the apple or pear end of the family
