I can't get over how beautiful those blue and black colors are. They seem other-worldly to me. I have only seen one of these critters, and just couldn't get a decent shot. I badly want to see one find a tarantula, and to watch that amazing process begin. Very nicely done.

Hope you get your chance. They're easiest to shoot while feeding. I've found them on buckwheat and narrow-leafed milkweed. The wasp-tarantula battle is something I'd love to see, too. Maybe we'll luck out yet.
