Nova Scotia to southern Ontario (Lafontaine 1973)

Which is on the other coastline to where this was taken.

Incidentally, I suspect there are other, undescribed Antispila species on dogwoods, and/or Lafontaine's descriptions of the leaf mines and the wing patterns of the adults, along with the stated host plants, are very misleading. This moth does seem to be on a dogwood though, for what it's worth.

Quite Likely to be an Atispila spp.

Antispila spp.
Examination of genitalia (or rearing from a leaf mine) is the only way to be 100% certain with these, as suggested on the ID of yours here:

That said, I have no idea whether A. cornifoliella is the best match for this one.
