Identification, Images, & Information
For Insects, Spiders & Their Kin

These have been bothering me...

Sorry if I am being too picky. There have been a lot of nice images identified by one of our experts and then left in Genus or even Subfamily
Editors seemed not to have found them since then...

This one can go to
V. pensylavanica. it is a great ventral shot

Thanks
Done.

Thanks, Beatriz
Here is one more which can go to V. crabro

All three of these can at least....

Done...
I didn't frass any of the 2nd set. I would rather wait until the images get identified then frass the worst of them.

Good idea
and this girl can certainly come out of superfamily...

I am not sure how they get placed in such a general area, but I am sure an expert would be more likely to see if in Genus level

She's moved
She's moved

These are always put in
Vespinae for some reason even though they have been identified

Thanks
Done.

This could go to
Vespula vulgaris before it gets really buried...

Moved - and wow!
That is a magnificent construction for any species. I've seen churches that were less elaborate!

I have the same issue...
Not sure why, but I'm kinda OCD about this stuff- saw that Vespula made this topic, so figured I didn't really need to make another- anyways, just some pics that have ID's and could be moved/frassed:

Hopefully this can make it easier on some of the editors rather than making them just go hunt through all the pages themselves...

From ID Request:

Just for starters... :P

Confirmed - all done
I checked all of them, and moved a couple that were leftover.

This one needs to be moved

Got it...
Thanks again :)

Here are a couple more to clean up ID request
This can be moved to V. pensylvanica
http://bugguide.net/node/view/282125/bgimage

These can be moved to B. orientalis since Eric has positively Identified them

http://bugguide.net/node/view/279967/bgimage

This to Subfamily Vespinae until an expert takes a look

This to Polistes until an expert takes a look

Thanks again...
Moved :)

I missed one
These images really can get pushed back into ID request.... This one was only a few days ago and it is already 30 pages back. Summer is a crazy time for bug IDs I guess
