Found this one at my local wetlands. Tough to get close. Beautiful insect.

Nice specimen, nice find
I'm near certain your ID is good. Glad you were able to get within shooting distance. (I'm having a lot of trouble with approach right now and have heard the same from at least one other contributor. If you can find the flies while they're visiting flowers, it's a bit easier.)
