James Durbin, one of our Iowa moth experts, pointed me toward 7388 xanthorhoe ferrugata, which appears to be an exact match.

Might be

Orange-barred Carpet.

EDIT: I see Red-twin spot carpets all the time so i'm not sure how I mis-Identified that....
