Monarch-Danaus phexippus - Danaus plexippus - Male Female
Yucca Valley, San Bernardino County, California, USA
Couldn't tell if they were mating or fighting. Started up in the sky and ended up on the ground then sperated in the sky. This went on for about 2 minutes.

mating i think
I'll bet that's a monarch couple mating. Have seen similar dances before with other species. Hopefully an expert can chime in on it.
