Purple-margined Ground beetle - Pasimachus
Jupiter Ridge Natural Area, Palm Beach County, Florida, USA

Size: ~2 cm
I found this handsome beetle crossing the parking lot as I was leaving the trails. It could be P. floridanus. I am not sure if those are mites or eggs on the elytra.
