Thats better! Feel free to frass my last images . Now Virginia has a Swamp Darner to be proud of. A perfect day today. Not too warm this morning a little cooler after some overnight rain. Around 30 Swamp darners seen this morning around the lake, hunting and cruising. And fortunately I had the time to hang around and follow 3 to roost. This was the best , almost at ground level I had to grovel in the dust to get these and a dozen more but well worth the effort.

Also seen today at Hoffler Creek; Common Blue Darner, Needhams Skimmers, Halloween Pennants, Four Spotted Pennants, Saddlebags (probably Carolina but perched high mating), Great Blue Skimmers, Eastern Pondhawks.
