Dytiscid - Oreodytes crassulus

Size: 3 mm
Dipnetted this pretty little guy from the quieter margins of the river together with an O. scitulus specimen. Generally small and broad in shape; only found in lotic situations (streams, small rivers). A rather uncommon and highly localized dytiscid.
