Dufourea marginata? (Halictidae) in Colorado Springs - Dufourea - Male
Colorado Springs, Palmer Park at 6600 ft (N38° 52.6', W104° 46.335'), El Paso County, Colorado, USA
August 11, 2005
Size: L = 9 mm
Found on Helianthus petiolaris. All black w/5 weak abdom. bands; arolia; pointed marginal cell; honey-yellow wing stigma, 2 cubital cells; (the latter two seem to be diagnostic for Dufourea in this area.)
