Sleeping Pose.
Will be very hard to determine the species, but this is an excellent image of Ammophila sleeping behavior. They adopt this pose at about dusk, often gathering in loose (sometimes tight) aggregations on dead twigs and stems near the ground, and spend the night that way. I once found a cluster I mistook for some kind of flower:-)
