CaƱon City, Fremont County, Colorado, USA
June 8, 2009
Size: ~8-9mm
This fuzzy little bee was motionless on this flower, in a slightly odd position, so I'm not sure it was well. Is this Melissodes? I'm guessing the purplish thing on its leg is a mite of some sort.

Moved
Moved from Diadasia.

looks like a Diadasia male
could be D. enavata

the purplish thing could be affixed mud
