This "Red-saddle" Bombus is the most common Bumbler in this area at elevations 4500-6500 ft, a generalist visitor of a variety of flowers as are all bumblers. It ranges from Alberta to Colorado west across the Rocky Mountains.Its colors are B-NotaYBY-TergaYRRYBB w/black propodeum.
