Almost three hours later, and both queens are still alive inside the nest. There has been yet another worker casualty. There is now an apparent loser. I believe it to be the queen that hid in the beginning.

In this photo, you can see the remaining workers helping to finish off the loser. Wonder if the original foundress came out on top of all this?
