Yellow Sugarcane Aphids
Sipha flava, which is a pest of sorghum and other grasses.

Aphids
knowing the plant is helpful for ID. Aphids are quite hard to ID to species.

Thanks Lynette
The plant they were on i have yet to id. I like to call it bird seed grass. Very large blades of grass and it can get quite tall. These guys had me confused as I always look for the "tail pipes" on the aphids, which these lacked.

tail pipes
I think they should have tail pipes if they are aphids.
