Egg cluster?

Egg cluster?
Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
August 16, 2005
Found this cluster of what looks like eggs of some kind. They were on a rhododendron bush. Any idea of what they are/

they look like they may have
they look like they may have been laid of the outside of a cocoon of some sort. many of the female tussock moths are flightless and are fertilized and lay eggs without leaving the area thay pupated in. I know a good way to find out what they grow up to be...

eggs
I agree, these look like Tussock Moth eggs that were layed on the female's old cocoon.

Eggs?
