Unknown spider (1 of 5) - Pisaurina mira - Male
Cedar Creek Park, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, USA
May 28, 2009
Size: leg span: aprox. 3 inches
We found this spider in a rock overhang or small wind cave type environment. We were sitting out a thunder storm and he kept coming over to us. We’d redirect and send him on his way, but soon he’d be back. It was kind of odd. I didn’t notice the fuzzy sections of legs until I saw the photos on the computer.

Linking images...
Hello! I went ahead and linked all your images of this spider. This is a better method of submitting multiple images then labeling them "1 of 5", etc. For instructions on how to link images as you are submitting them, please see the sixth question in the Help section. For instructions on how to link images after they have already been submitted separately, see the ninth question in the Help section.

RE: Linking images...
Thanks Harsi. I wasn't aware of those methods but I'll use them in the future.

I appreciate the info.

Steve

No problem, Steve!
I wasn't absolutely sure if your images of the moth and the beetle larva were of single specimens. If they were indeed images of the same insect, you should go back and link those too.

Welcome to BugGuide. Glad to have you here!
