BG2214 E4613 - Pherhimius fascicularis

BG2214 E4613 - Pherhimius fascicularis
Barney Farm, Hwy 103, 1 mi. NW Washington, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana, USA
May 24, 2009
Size: body length 19.1 mm.
Collected at UV light. Appears to be a match for Pherimius fascicularis as seen here. The pattern on these two specimens shows an interesting difference from other images of P. fascicularis on BugGuide: On our specimen and the BugGuide image that matches it, one of the lighter bands on the elytra appears to be missing compared to the other images. It looks like the band has been lifted out and the rear section of the elytra moved forward to fill the gap. Is this just normal variation or maybe sexual dimorphism?
Placement would be appreciated.
