Hi Ben, Do you think it's
Hi Ben,

Do you think it's not possible to move this to pulex? I have only three other species listed in the genus.

I'm sure it is pulex
I was just moving it out of Salticidae for now. I hope to look through these pages once the unsorted jumble is cleaned up a bit. I honestly do think all these male Naphrys with the yellowish on the side of the cephalothorax are pulex, and I'll move them there when I get a chance. There's just dozens and dozens of pages of unidentified spiders at the family level that I'm trying to get through.

Is Naphrys possible?

Naphrys does seem possible
Not sure though.

Oops -- mixing up my European
Oops -- mixing up my European and Nearctic species. :-( (My apologies -- I try to be careful about this.)

Naphrys pulex is indeed what I meant (that explains why the head region looked a bit different, among other things).

I think Lynette suggested waiting for Jay, which always sounds like a good idea to me.

No problem
I was afraid they had renamed the genus, and I almost didn't post thinking I was just using old names and being redundant.

jumping spider
of some kind. Maybe Jay will know it.

It reminds me a bit of Pseude
It reminds me a bit of Pseudeuophrys lanigera, but I couldn't say for sure.

spider "I couldn't say for sure"
Thank you, Kevin.
Should I Frass this one?

No, don't frass
If that's what it is, it could be a new species for the guide. Let's see what others say.
