Unknown Bug and Garden Pest

Size: Size compared to a dime
I have been finding this type of bug on my vegetable plant leaves such as bean and tomato. They like to sit on the top of the leaf and cause small round holes. They do fly. It has a hardness to the top of it's wings. Right behind my garden is a wooded area. Help! Can anyone tell me what the name of this bug is?
